Nuraly Privacy Policy

Nuraly is a private wellness companion for small daily check-ins. Capture a pulse snapshot, save moment notes, reflect with an AI companion, and review gentle patterns over time.

Permission-led experience

Camera access is requested only after the user explicitly starts the Pulse flow. Apple Health access is optional and read-only. AI processing happens only after explicit user action.

Camera

Camera is used only for the user-initiated pulse snapshot flow. The result is a personal wellness estimate only.

Apple Health / HealthKit

Apple Health access is optional and read-only. Nuraly reads only the categories the user approves, currently heart rate, heart rate variability, step count, sleep analysis, workouts, respiratory rate, and VO2 max.

Nuraly does not write data to Apple Health.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications, optional, and user-controlled.

AI message content

AI processing happens only after explicit user action. On first use, the app shows an AI disclosure.

If the user enables Include recent context, the request may include local app context such as the latest pulse snapshot estimate, latest moment, latest manual log, and saved companion memory. Apple Health data is not included in AI requests.

Local wellness data

Most app data stays on device by default. Optional iCloud sync stores settings only, not health data, pulse snapshots, manual logs, messages, moments, or companion memory.

Settings includes export JSON, export summary, export PDF, and delete local data.

StoreKit purchase data

Nuraly Premium uses auto-renewable subscriptions through StoreKit. The configured product IDs are com.nuraly.week, com.nuraly.month, and com.nuraly.year.

The core app remains usable without Premium. Restore Purchases and Manage Subscription are available in Settings and in the paywall flow.

Apple Watch and background refresh

The Apple Watch app is included with the iPhone app and shows the latest summary from the iPhone app through WatchConnectivity. It is optional and not required to review the core iPhone experience.

Optional background refresh is used only to refresh cached app summaries, widgets, and optional settings sync when iOS allows it. It is not used for real-time health monitoring or medical alerts.

Medical boundary

Nuraly is an everyday wellness, journaling, and AI companion app. It is not a medical app and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, emergency guidance, medication advice, or clinical decision support.

The app does not claim to measure blood pressure, blood oxygen, blood glucose, body temperature, ECG/EKG, or any medical score.
